Carlow Project

We are recruiting participants for an online/phone-based study about the experience of unemployment with unemployed people living in Carlow. The research aims to bring the voice of unemployed people to policy making and help shape the unemployment policy.

Interviews should last a maximum of 45 minutes, with a professional academic researcher, part of a research team at Waterford Institute of Technology. Confidentiality and fairness is assured and detailed in our informed consent sheet given to you before the interview. HECAT: Disruptive Technologies Supporting Labour Market Decision Making is a Horizon 2020 funded research collaborative in the Societal Challenge 6 (SC6) category. The funded research will run from February 2020 to February 2023. The research is co-ordinated by Waterford Institute of Technology and is supported by partners across Europe: Employment Service of Slovenia, University of Ljubljana, Copenhagen Business School, Platform Networking for Jobs, Roskilde University, Sciences Po, Josef Stefan Institute & Tecnalia.
