The document itself is quite long and we will be writing several blog posts in the near future about it. It has three major discussion sections:
- A review of the typical profiling systems
- Country reports where such profiling systems have been applied in practice
- Ethical issues as they relate to algorithm design
In this report we get into the complex history of algorithms, as this has a significant impact on how they are used. A unique aspect of our report is its exploration of the theology inherent in algorithms, as they are often seen as a godlike solution to human made problems.
