HECAT Project researchers from the South East Technological University in Ireland attended the 39th EGOS Colloquium (European Group for Organizational Studies) at the University of Cagliari, Italy from 6-8 July 2023. The theme of the conference was “Organizing for the Good Life: Between Legacy and Imagination”. The team contributed to two sub-themes over the 3 day-conference, sub-theme #37 “Futures and ethics of care: reorganizing work, labour, and life” and also sub-theme #18 “Algorithms we live by and resist in organizational life”. See below details of the HECAT presentations from our researchers. The EGOS conference provides a great opportunity for feedback and discussion with other researchers, in particular the discussant format where detailed comments are provided on individual research papers.
